AustineAustine has been in a relationship with the cards since 1996. Not always the right kind — for a long time, like many people, she came to them looking for what she wanted to see rather than what was true. But she kept returning, kept listening, and in 2017 something shifted. During one of the harder chapters of her life, the cards became a way back to herself — reflecting the feelings she hadn’t yet found words for, and helping her get in touch with an intuition she had been too afraid to trust.
Austine is a licensed mental health therapist specializing in complex trauma. Her clinical training has given her a deep ethical attentiveness — an understanding that the people who come to the cards are often navigating something profoundly real. A question is rarely just a question. She holds every reading with the same care she brings to clinical work.
What she has found is that tarot and therapy can lead people to the same place — a clearer sense of their values, a deeper trust in their own inner wisdom. The path looks different. The destination often isn’t.
