Some of what we carry was handed to us before we had the chance to refuse it.
It becomes the shape of how we hold ourselves, how we trust, what we believe is possible. Therapy, sometimes, is simply the practice of unpacking what we never asked to keep.
This is slow work. It does not happen in one breakthrough or one perfectly timed insight. It happens in the small, repeated noticing — the willingness to put down what you have been quietly carrying long enough to remember what your own hands feel like empty.
